Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM)

Introduction

The Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery programme is of two years duration leading to a diploma as Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife. The course is specifically designed to train students in the basics of nursing, midwifery, and healthcare.

It is regulated and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Nursing and Paramedical Education (MSBNPE).

The A.N.M. Programme intends to prepare skilled female health worker to work in both urban and rural communities to improve the health system and health status of India.

ANM course is a healthcare course that focuses on training individuals to work as basic healthcare providers, particularly in rural and community healthcare settings.The course equips students with the vital skills & knowledge for successful career in healthcare, with a focus on hands-on care & patient support. The comprehensive program opens doors to a wide array of career opportunities in both private & public sectors including midwife-nurse, clinical nurse specialist, nursing tutor, etc.
